Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Lightouch Consulting Pty Ltd ATF Machined Trust, the operator of ProPace (“we”, “us”). By downloading, installing, or using ProPace, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Description of Service

ProPace is a cycling performance analysis app that uses physics-based simulation to compare your riding performance against professional cyclists. The app provides estimates and simulations — not precise measurements.

Pricing

ProPace is free to download and use. All features are included, and no subscription or in-app purchase is currently offered.

If a paid option is introduced in future, its price and terms will be shown in the app before any purchase is made, and payment would be charged to your Apple ID account on confirmation of purchase. If you hold a subscription purchased previously, it remains governed by the terms in force when you bought it; you can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple ID account settings, and refund requests are handled by Apple under their standard terms.

No Professional Advice

The app does not provide medical, fitness, or training advice. Power estimates (FTP, W/kg) are derived from GPS data and should not be treated as clinical measurements. Always consult a qualified professional before making training decisions.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for using the app safely. Do not operate the app while cycling in traffic or in situations where distraction could cause injury.

Data Accuracy

Simulation results are approximations. Factors such as GPS drift, barometric pressure changes, wind estimation limitations, and individual physiological variation mean that predicted times and power values will differ from actual performance.

Third-Party Services

The app integrates with Wahoo for ride import, and uses Sentry for crash reporting. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. Historical weather used to pre-compute grand tour stage conditions was sourced from Open-Meteo.com and is included under the CC BY 4.0 licence.

Intellectual Property

ProPace and its physics engine, design, and content are protected by copyright. You may not extract, reproduce, or redistribute the app's route data or simulation algorithms.

Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the app.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
